Question. Hi, new here on this subreddit! I just got RDR2 and my Question is if its better to set my audio settings on Stereo rather than Headphones. FYI im using a Sennheiser 350 headset with built in 5.1 audio but i heard that fake 5.1 should never be used and always go for stereo instead.

For me, in linux, setting the audio latency to 60ms fixed it. At least for the minimal time i have tested it. I had severe crackling before so maybe it helps. I have set it as a launch option but this one wont work on windows so either find a windows equivalent or set the latency in windows before starting the game.

Click on that and all your apps that use sound should pop up (make sure red dead 2 is open). The latest update turned down my audio for RDR2 down to 7 and I boosted it
