Mar 31, 2018 · I am having issues with my Mondeo going into 'Limp Mode'. The car displays 'Engine Malfunction' along with 'Hill Start Assist is Not Available'. I ran it through an ODB device but it is not finding any active fault codes, so I'm not sure what the problem is. You could have the following issues: the switch is fault, if there is no response from the switch, try to pick one up from the breakers or ebay. But check under the seats to see what you have. if you can see fans, then you have climate seats, otherwise you will have heated.

Oct 2, 2015 · Had a look at the LCD but couldn't see any signs of any issues. So with a sigh I replaced the cluster, drove to Halfords to get an interior light for my engine management light (LCD display still not working). Heading back coming towards a speed camera so looks down and low and behold it was working.
Feb 27, 2022 · All the windows and door locks etc work apart from the drivers sidei back door. So I dug out the good old Haynes manual and found the wiring diagrams for the door modules. Looks like LIN 1 is a Grey / Yellow cable, not a purple one, that must be for focus’ or others.

May 18, 2015 · could well be a relay. there are 2 relays for front wipers. R8 and R11 in engine fusebox. Relay 11 is always switched on whenever wipers work, on any speed. On speed 1 or intermittent, relay 11 outputs voltage through closed contacts of relay 8 and supplies low speed wiper wire. if second speed is selected, relay 8 is also switched on and .
